Cobblemon Routes

Cobblemon Routes is a Cobblemon add-on (Minecraft 1.21.1, Cobblemon 1.7.3) that turns any Cobblemon world into a linear, classic-style Pokémon RPG: physical roads generated during worldgen that connect the world's cities and structures, automated Hardcore-Nuzlocke rules, and integrated quality-of-life utilities. It works with any Cobblemon setup, and is compatible with packs like COBBLEVERSE (it connects their gyms when present).

Two halves

  • Routes — a dynamic road network that grows through the world during generation, seeking flat ground, skirting coasts, tunnelling through mountains, and signposting every junction.
  • Nuzlocke RPG — first-encounter capture lock, permadeath, spectator-on-loss, a starter randomizer, modular healing, and more — all configurable per world from the world-creation screen.

Highlights

  • 🗺️ Dynamic routes between cities/structures, fully part of worldgen (no commands, no walking the area). Roads seek flat ground, stay off the coast, tunnel mineshaft-style through mountains, clear whole trees from the path, and get English biome-based names (Route 3: Plains Forest).
  • 🎮 Hardcore Nuzlocke: per-zone first-encounter lock, permadeath with heal-blocking, mandatory nicknames, spectator-on-loss, and a Defeated-Catch window (a downed wild stays catchable but inert).
  • 🧩 World-creation tabs: dedicated NUZLOCKE and ROUTES tabs on the vanilla create-world screen — set every rule up-front, saved per world.
  • 🧭 Integrations (optional): Waystones (named route nodes) and Xaero's Minimap (auto waypoints).
